Q345qE steel plate

Q345qE steel is structural steel for bridges, belonging to a higher quality grade

of low-alloy structural steel. Compared to ordinary quality grades Q345A and B,

it requires lower content of P and S, and must contain at least one

grain refining element (V, Nb, Ti,

Al), and requires a 0°C impact toughness

test. Q345qE steel is mainly used in the construction of railway bridges and highway bridges,

for manufacturing welded structural components such as steel boxes or shaped steel beams of steel bridges,

requiring good comprehensive mechanical properties, welding performance, and low-temperature deformation

capability. To meet market demands, Shaosteel organized trial production of

Q345qE steel. The mechanical properties of this steel, such as strength, toughness, and low-temperature impact

toughness, all meet standard requirements, achieving satisfactory

results.
